Message from the CEO

Welcome to the Church Of God In Christ Web Page.  I am personally glad that you are a faithful user or potentially a user of our materials.  The publishing house is located in Memphis, Tennessee, the Headquarters of the Church Of God In Christ.  For years the publishing house was located downtown at 291 Hernando Street but urban renewal claimed that historic site.  Presiding Bishop G.E. Patterson and a commission of General Board members, Bishop Roy L.H.  Winbush, Nathaniel Wells and W.W. Hamilton located and purchased the current location at 2500 Lamar.  The location is a building for our future growth and development, and has over 70,000 sq feet of space for publishing operations.

The management of the publishing house was in hands of Bro Huegha Terry for nearly forty years. His loyal service created a standard of excellence that we hope to continue.  Under the guidance of a constitutionally mandated publishing board, he and the faithful staff provided books and materials that benefitted the local churches the world over.  The Church Of God In Christ Publishing House is owned and operated by the Church Of God In Christ, Inc.  The benefits of its publishing ministry support and encourage ministries in store fronts and large cathedrals.

I personally want to thank each of the pastors who support of our own business. Using one’s own literature creates jobs, unity, educational opportunities and spiritual development with a definite purpose. Lastly, by design, our literature is among the less expensive on the market.  Part of our mission is produce quality and affordable literature.
